They say that New York is the best city in the world, the best place to live. Somehow during my recent trip to New York, I have not yet quite agreed completely to this statement. Blame it on lack of time, we were only there for 5 full days and we were in Times Square and 54th to 42nd street the whole time. I admit, it is a shoppers heaven! From Macy's to Bergdorf Goodman to Saks Fifth Ave., the choices are endless! With all the tiny boutiques just lined up along the street, the first thing to go would be your cash.
Some of the places worth mentioning are:
1. Grand Central Station - For all you Gossip Girl fans, remember when Serena just arrived in Manhattan? She was standing over the ledge looking down at the bustling of Grand Central! ;) And also, from the movie Arthur where Russel Brand and that girl were whispering secrets on the wall - IT REALY WORKS! :)
2. Hotel Empire - Another Gossip Girl reference ;)
3. The red steps at Times Square near the TKTS booth - where the Glee kids performed during one episode.
Here are a few pictures from my trip, I took a lot of memories home with me with the promise that I will return to lovely New York. :)
