...and then there were two

As most of you know, I lost my iphone the other weekend when I was in Manila which I blogged about here. Anyway, I was left with no choice but to borrow one of the extra phones we have lying around the house. I went from one cellphone to the next until I semi-settled with the nokia C3. 

When our box from the States arrived, my dad was able to get a new Blackberry Bold 9780 but after about 2 or 3 days he didn't want it anymore because he said it was hard to use. Lucky me, I got to use it! So now, I have not 1, but 2 blackberry phones! My trusty Torch 9800 and the Bold 9780. 

Personally, I would have wanted to still own an iphone (but I'm waiting for the new one to come out so I guess I have to make do with what I have for now).

The downside to having a Blackberry is that it has so few games. Even at Blackberry world, there are only a limited games to choose from and they aren't all that nice. I miss the games on my iphone (no more Smurfs for me) and I miss how handy it is for me to be able to do something in it. I usually have a Merriam Webster dictionary and a Chinese-English dictionary on my iphone since I like to look up words sometimes for fun. I thought I couldn't live without an iphone, but right now I'm doing pretty well. :)

resuscitate me

I've been very busy these past 2 days, mainly with house stuff. I don't know if I've mentioned this before but we're moving to a new house! Soon! :) And so we had sort of a "test run" yesterday and slept there. So many things are still missing, and I really hope it gets done by the end of the month!

Language Month

Or better known as "Buwan ng Wika" in vernacular. Actually I think this happens every August but back in my high school we usually celebrate it in September since we can't finish rehearsals on time. Haha :) Went to watch the program since my sister is performing in her last Buwan ng Wika, since she's going to college next year!! MY, my.. how fast time flies!

The stage was really different from last time! Everything this year was new! New costumes, new props, probably the only thing that was recycled were the dances! Haha ;)

I've always loved dancing and performing. And I think I owe a lot of that to my school because they made me part of the choir - which was a sing and dance kind of choir, and we performed everywhere!! from birthday parties to malls. Watching the show made me miss dancing, but High School seems like eons away. Whatever happened to that?

 I miss it! This is the one memorabilia that always makes me smile every time I see it.

It's a unique piece of the Eiffel Tower and not as generic as the miniature replicas. :)

#1 - Gucci

Something that came in the mail the other day, all the way from Los Angeles! It may not be the newest design, and it may be second-hand, but I'm very proud to say that I finally have my first designer bag! :) Here's to looking forward to more  bags that I can buy someday. :D

times like these

Finally, after a week I was able to use my sun number again. If you guys didn't know, I lost my phone last week (which I mentioned in my previous post) and I got a sim card replacement on Wednesday, but  it wasn't until Saturday that it got activated!! I was so mad at Sun because usually it took 24 hours but I had to wait for almost 72 hours!

Anyway, I felt like going out and so after contacting my friends it was a go! Had dinner with a close college friend whom I haven't seen in ages! 

I also misread the weather signals because it ended up being really hot. I was sweating like crazy!

so long weekend!

I had a really interesting weekend in Manila. I don't know if I should cry or laugh about it because it was that ironic!

Our plane arrived at 8:30 in the evening and we went straight away to Golden Bay restaurant because they were shooting for My Binondo Girl there! Aaaaahhhh. My sister and I were so happy to be able to have our photos taken with Xian Lim and Matteo Guidicelli!

We were even given the chance to become extras in the show but, I couldn't stay long because I had a prior engagement with my friends. So off I went to partay the night away with my dear friends. :)

Around after this picture was taken, I took a rest and rummaged through my bag to look for my phone and oh wow, MY PHONE WAS LOST. It got stolen!!!! And I didn't even feel a thing. :( I was so devastated and I didn't know what to do. We told the waiters about it and they were trying to search for it, but to no avail. So much for a fun night! 

On the up-side, the person stole my iphone and not my blackberry. I know, either way it's a lose-lose situation but at least the iphone was already old. *sniff* I will miss you iphone!!!

The rest of the trip was dedicated to eating and shopping!! :D

And last but not the least, I was able to go to Sophie's Mom to try out their mochi ice cream and we bought some red velvet cupcakes for home! Can't wait to try it!!
